I am feeling SO good today! My hair has been washed for the first time in a week! Thank you so much Karyn for driving me to my hair appointment!

I just got finished with the breast surgeon follow up, and guess what! Your girl is CANCER FREE! So yeah, I cried again today, but these tears were 100% relief and joy!

Today might be day 1 of my emotional recovery. Everything has gone so much better than I could have ever expected. My pain is pretty much not even there. I had no nausea from the anesthesia or from the medications I was prescribed. My sentinel nodes were clear. Really it has been the best possible

Everything is still going better than expected! Virtually no pain whatsoever today which is amazing! So far my pain has never really gotten above a 2 or 3 which is crazy to me coming off of a major surgery, but I’ll absolutely take it! I have a different recovery partner hanging out with me today,

Good morning! We went to my appointment with the plastic surgeon, and he said everything looks good. There is some bruising on my skin, so they weren’t able to do the first fill today into the tissue expanders. He did prescribe a nitro glycerine cream that I’ll need to put a thin layer of each

Day 3 and I am still feeling pretty good! A weird development out of all of this is that one of my medications causes blurred vision for things up close. I can see perfectly fine for things further away. Thanks Terri for giving me some reading glasses so that I can see my phone and my book!

I have the prettiest recovery partner! I am home and still doing well. I’ve been watching Wakanda Forever and napping.

Good morning! Last night went really well! They had me up and moving, and after that I slept like a rock! Several doctors and nurses have come by this morning and said that everything looks good. I am out of surgery and in a room for the night! From what I have heard, everything went well, and even better, no nausea! Apparently it took me a little longer to get to my room because my stubborn self did not want to end my nap. Thanks again to everyone for your kind
