I am definitely a crafty girl at heart. I am also someone who has flash obsessions that are absolutely EVERYTHING all at once and then die out quickly 😂 One thing that started as what I thought would be a flash obsession but has stood the test of time, is crochet. I may take a break from it from time to time, but I always come back. The feeling I get when my own two hands create something out of string is just so satisfying. Now, that does not at all mean that I am sitting over here crocheting queen sized blankets and having a good ol’ time. Absolutely not. Your girl needs small projects that are a little more akin to instant gratification. I cannot count how many times I have tried starting a blanket only to find the WIP (work in progress) years later and throw it away. I get bored easily.
Enter amigurumi (stuffies) made using plush yarn. I have found my niche! They are adorable, soft, and quick to make. Side bonus, they sell at craft shows 🤑 Crafting these little buddies brings me joy in a way that is different from other accomplishments I have made. They are so customizable from the colors to the embellishments to the eyes, etc. I really feel like I put a piece of myself into everything I make!

Unfortunately, when someone places an order for something specific, it takes all of the fun out of it for me. It then becomes a task, rather than a joy. So at this time, I do not accept orders for my makes. I am currently prepping for a craft show at the end of April, so nothing is for sale right now due to the need to build up inventory. After the craft show, I may post what I have left on Facebook to see if anyone would like to purchase at that point.
