So I know there has been radio silence from me these past two weeks, but unfortunately that is because there has basically been radio silence from the doctor’s office as well. This has all been so frustratingly slow. On top of that I haven’t really felt like the communication that I expected from them has been there..
I put a call in to my patient advocate yesterday regarding about three separate issues that I needed help with, and I am hoping to hear back from them today. It almost feels like I need to be out of work just to be able to take/make the calls to help get the ball rolling. It is very hard for me to step away at work to deal with it all, and the hours that my care team is available for phone calls are the exact same hours and days that I am at work.
I am hoping that maybe I can get a date for the surgery this week. I’ll post more when I have more.
