Good morning!
Patrick and I are headed to Newnan for a day full of Pre-op appointments for the surgery tomorrow. The nerves are starting to set in regarding the surgery, but I know that everything is going to go well. I am just so ready to be on the other side of this. I feel like we are as prepared as we can be for the most part.
Patrick made sure that I had a good weekend leading into this. He took me out for a fun night Saturday night. We ate at Pappadeaux for the first time with my best friend Crystal and her husband Bryan which was so good and great company as well. Then we went and saw Pete Davidson at the Atlanta Comedy Theater. I felt like I was in my early 20’s again because we went to the late show and didn’t get back to the hotel until 3am! Pete was great though, so we had no trouble staying awake Earlier in the day my sister Megan and her bestie Christina came by the house with flowers and well wishes for the surgery, for which I was very grateful Then, last night we had my sister Karyn, my nephews Brad and Will, and my nieces Kourtney and Halee over to hang out for the Usher concert. I don’t know about anyone else, but I thoroughly enjoyed his performance! It took me right back to my teens/early 20’s especially when they turned it into a skating rink party!
I appreciate all of the support, prayers, and good vibes that I have received over the past several months. I am SO ready to hear the words “cancer free”!
